Who is better, a cat or a dog? Who is better to have: pros and cons

Don't think that I am somehow biased towards dogs. No, on the contrary, I have two dogs at home. Every animal has something amazing. This article is a humorous reflection, but it also has its share of truth. Many people ask me: Why are dogs worse than cats? Yes, no worse, friends. There are no good or bad people in our world - we ourselves make them that way. So why are cats better than dogs?

Discussing the superiority of cats over dogs and vice versa can provoke a serious quarrel. The debate continues even when cat lovers already know that their purrs have long been declared winners. It's not a competition for cats because they are above it. A cat's playfulness and independence are the source of the hidden envy of many people who would like to spend all day away from work chasing insects, chewing catnip and basking in the sun. Even some ardent dog lovers look longingly at these independent and perfect creatures.

1. Cats are polite to your guests.

When friends come to your house, the dog goes crazy - barks, jumps, stains your clothes with its paws. While the dog does everything it can to be noticed and accepted, including bouncing around the floor like a basketball, the cat is usually invisible. Cats prefer to watch visitors from afar, for example, from under a bed or from a closet.

Perhaps, if the cat is in the mood, he will come out to meet new guests, but carefully and with a twitching tail. No scratching, jumping on hands or loud noises. You also don't need to be afraid while eating. The cat will quietly observe everything from a distance, and the dog can easily grab something from the table.

2. Cats smell better than dogs.

Even the most avid dog lover must admit that cats have a complete advantage in this regard. Perfumed shampoos or daily brushing are no good - there is no way to completely get rid of or mask dog odor. Everything passes through it - the interior of the car, clothes and even the elevator. No one even has to ask if you have a dog - just have a nose and everything becomes clear.

Cats, due to their innate need to constantly care for their fur, do not emit any odor, and even if in your absence they sit on a new sofa all day, you will never know it from the smell.

3. Cats are more fun than dogs The Internet is full of comical photos and videos of cats—hundreds more will be uploaded before you finish reading this sentence. Cats' innate curiosity leads to a variety of fun situations. Cats see their reflection in the mirror for the first time, watch TV or climb into all sorts of boxes - all this looks funny or, at least, cute. It's as if cats have an innate comic talent that they're completely unaware of.

4. Even the loudest cat will still be quieter than any dog.

Most dogs always vocalize their mood. Cats keep their emotions to themselves. Whether dogs are unhappy, happy, excited, or just chatty, they bark. They loudly announce all new events to the whole world - from a stranger showing up at the door to trying a new taste.

A cat, even when bathing, in no way competes with a dog when it comes to decibel levels. So you don't have to worry about your pet waking up your neighbor in the middle of the night. Although, there are exceptions.

5. Cats are a natural insect repellent.

Fascinated by winged creatures and all other small inhabitants, cats bring them destruction. They jump high onto the wall to grab the spider and its web, and catch any flies that come into view.

6. Cats are more careful with their toys Have you ever seen toys for dogs? Bones torn to shreds, tennis balls chewed up... Usually the toy is in terrible condition, unless it has been swallowed.

Cat toys are always well-kept and hidden in invisible places - under the bed, closet or in a basket. Cats keep their belongings in safe places, protecting them from intruders who might steal their favorite piece of felt with a bell or a squeaky, glowing ball.

7. There is no need to go for walks with cats.

Severe frost or thunderstorm - the dog owner still needs to go outside and wait for the pet to make a pile and mark all the trees in the vicinity. The weather and time of day - none of this matters, especially if the pet has intestinal problems or diarrhea. The dog needs to go for a walk, period.

Meanwhile, a smug cat sits by the window and calmly looks at the downpour outside. A quick trip to the litter box and the cat goes to bed. Even on a sunny day, it would never occur to a cat to ask for a walk.

8. Cats love to bring gifts to those they love.

In both mind and heart, cats are miniature versions of their wild ancestors - lions, tigers, cheetahs or jaguars. But cats cannot count on zebras in the yard, so they settle for smaller prey, which is often brought by their owners. A gift offered by a cat, be it a moth, a bird or a mouse, is the highest tribute she can give you and proof of her devotion.

Resident cats also sometimes bring gifts, such as small stuffed toys. When they place them at your feet, they always meow, saying, “Look, I brought this for you, to cheer you up.”

9. Cats and laser pointers: entertainment for today, tomorrow and every next day

Before the cat's favorite pastime became catching a red dot on the wall, she had to be content with the light of a flashlight. Boredom! Fortunately, the advent of laser pointers has turned playing with a cat into a real ballet.

Cats tirelessly chase this elusive spot, catch it and are afraid when it manages to escape. The cat is having a workout, and you sit, watch and laugh. A dog, on the other hand, has no interest in chasing something that cannot be caught. Because if a dog cannot catch something, then it will not be able to receive a reward for it. Cats, unlike dogs, know that the reward is the chase itself, and they are confident that one day they will finally catch that tiny red dot.

10. Cats purr

Cats can purr. Stroke a purring cat's chin and feel the stress leave you. Instant calm is guaranteed. Research shows that cat purring is more effective than music therapy.

Thanks to the cat's purring, energy flow increases and metabolism improves. A cat's purring is a source of healing power. Why then listen to annoying music when you can listen to the healing purring?

Cat or dog: pros and cons

The problem cannot be solved in one plane. Animals are as different as one can imagine. It is comparable to making a decision about the need to live nearby a living creature, which will either be loved with all its shortcomings, or will poison the life of the owners with its daring antics. Only by answering internally whether we are ready to patiently improve next to them (in fact, endure all the negative aspects of their lives), can we decide on the animal itself.

In fairness, it must be said that internally the future owner has decided who he sees next to him: either the devoted eyes of a dog, or a cozy purr on his lap. This inner urge determines the further attitude towards considering the advantages and disadvantages of living together. And then the question no longer arises: “Who is better, a cat or a dog?”

Four-legged healers

Depression, energy deficiency, cardiovascular problems - these are the ailments for which pet fluffies are treated.

The affectionate purring of the cat, the warm soft tongue of the dog, the cheerfully wagging tail - these are living, fluffy pills for stress, tension and daytime fatigue. There is no overdose from taking such a medicine, only vitality increases.

Who are they living next to us?

Every person at least once in his life has encountered cats and dogs.

A black cat crossing the road only evokes negative emotions in us, and drivers strive to slow down and wait for someone to cross the road first. But a purring creature on its knees is a picture of quiet family happiness and well-being in the house, and then the answer to the question why cats are better than dogs is clear.

A dirty dog, restlessly running back and forth, scouring garbage dumps in search of food - this can only be seen in a nightmare. But a trained, silent dog that immaculately obeys its owner, whose devoted eyes constantly watch him, almost always gives reason to dream about his own.

This is probably why we cannot immediately decide: a cat or a dog.

You can talk a lot about who is better - a cat or a dog, but the decision will come spontaneously, although after serious thought.

Maintenance cost

  1. Some people believe that keeping a cat in the house is much less expensive, unlike a dog. In fact, this is a misconception. The point is that, despite the cat’s lower food consumption, a high-quality product is more expensive than for dogs. Even if you prefer food of one brand.
  2. However, it all depends on the size of the dog. Some breeds eat no more than cats. Accordingly, keeping a dog is more profitable. Apart from this, do not forget that you will additionally need to spend money on a leash and collar. In addition, in cold weather, your four-legged friend will have to choose warm clothes.
  3. From time to time, dogs also need a haircut, so in general we can say that keeping them is more expensive. As for cats, in addition to high-quality food, it is worth taking care of the filler. It must be selected wisely based on the characteristics of the breed. Therefore, this also has its own subtleties.

Problems of mutual existence with cats

A small kitten (it is best to adopt it at the age of one and a half to two months - then it will grow up and meet the owner’s requirements) is not accustomed to anything. He can eat, drink, jump, run, climb. The discharge of natural needs occurs almost spontaneously - where I wanted, it happened there. It will take two, or even three, months to potty train a kitten (tray with filler). No one will do this for the owners, although if you have enough money, you can take a purebred kitten that has already been trained in everything at 4-5 months of age. And if you're lucky, then an ordinary one - not a thoroughbred. But this will already be a creature with a pronounced character and not completely the master’s - he was raised by others, he will remember them all his life.

What if the content requirements are different? Maybe he was climbing the curtains, but you don’t allow it. He grew up with a cat mother, she taught him to eat properly, but he cannot lick himself, and washing a kitten (to remove fleas) is already a problem.

Price issue

Expenses for the animal start from the first day of acquaintance, this includes:

  • The cost of the pet itself. The price depends on the breed and whether the animal will participate in exhibitions or in breeding.
  • Cost of food. The higher the quality of the feed, the more expensive it is.
  • The portioned food intake increases in direct proportion to the growth of the animal. For example, a Rottweiler eats 10 times more food than a Murka.

And if the cat is large - chausie, then it should be fed only with poultry: quail or turkey, where the daily norm is 1.5 kg.

  • Clothing for walking in the cold season;
  • Carrying;
  • Stand with feeding bowls;

  • Walking harness + leash;
  • Bed;
  • scratching post;
  • Automatic drinker;
  • Toilet tray;
  • Absorbent or clumping litter
  • Furminator, brushes for combing wool;
  • Toys, rustling tunnels.
  • Animal skin care products;
  • Vaccinations and veterinary drugs;
  • Veterinarian services.

And this list can only be replenished as necessary. For some people, such a list can be a big minus, for others it can be a plus. It's all about personal financial capabilities.

What you need to know about cats and cats?

The kitten chooses the place where it will sleep; it cannot be forced to do so.

He himself will determine the food - food from sachets, unfortunately, will be swallowed instantly, but also quickly eliminated from the body. And the creature, always hungry, plaintively screaming, scratching the legs of its owners, will force them to feed it real food. And then you will rush to the store to buy him fresh meat (chicken, fish) - what will your pet want?

The cat will inevitably ask for a walk. Estrus (estrus) is a natural physiological process; no one has yet managed to cancel it. These will be tense times in the apartment: guttural meowing (even at night), tearing wallpaper or grabbing the owners’ heels (out of great tenderness) and looking inward. Moreover, it is categorically impossible to scold a cat during estrus - you can leave her as a psychopath for the rest of her life. Of course, you can use special sedative tablets and drops. Immediately after the first heat, owners should decide whether to sterilize their cat. Then transfer her to a special diet so that she does not gain weight.

The cat will definitely try to mark the territory. And it will do this if appropriate measures are not taken - there are special means. He will have to be punished. At the age of eight months, a cat (if it is not adopted as a purebred for the purpose of reproduction) must be castrated, otherwise it will simply be a disgusting creature, provided that the pet lives only in an apartment and does not go for walks outside.

Unsterilized cats and cats are completely predictable, natural creatures in their impulses. They scurry around basements, catch mice and birds, and sometimes hunt in garbage containers (even well-fed ones). But in a big city, they bring a lot of worries to the owners - they can disappear for several days, and after that they come and either, if it is a cat, they need to wait for the offspring, or, if it is a cat, they need to wash it and fatten it. In any case, annual vaccinations and examinations by a veterinarian for diseases contagious to people (and this is important for children) are mandatory.

If these problems do not seem insurmountable, then, without hesitation, you can adopt a feline. And then there is no point in considering the question of who is smarter, a cat or a dog.

Decency

When living in an apartment, it is important to choose a pet that will quickly get used to the tray. Cats are not overly pliable in this regard.

They do not always empty themselves in the proper places, especially if the habitat is unfamiliar. When the dog grows up, the owner has to teach him to relieve himself outside the house, in which case he has to go to the toilet outside. If the animal understands this, it will not leave a puddle on the parquet, stop patiently waiting for your time to go for a walk. Cats, in their own way, can pee on the bed or sofa from the purzhit. They are willful and emotional. Dogs almost never deliberately leave marks in the apartment. Again, this cannot be said about cats. In order to prove something, they are capable of doing a lot. Usually the feces are kept in plain sight to convey to the owner who is in charge or to drive out an intruder.

How do owners feel around cats?

If the problems of growing up are overcome, the pet is toilet trained, and has decided on food, then, quite naturally, good times begin in the apartment.

The owners live in a cat's rhythm, adapting to their pet. He wakes them up at night: cats are nocturnal animals. Their great-great-great-grandparents behaved exactly the same way. And it’s good if, after waking up, the pet finds its favorite toy and starts fiddling with it. But most often he will demand to feed him, and once caught in this, the owners will be forced to get up before dawn, and then it will be very difficult to fall asleep. It doesn’t even help if the cat is kicked out to another room. He jumps alone for about ten minutes, then starts yelling under the door. You have to go out, pick him up, talk - this lasts for two hours. And it’s already morning there. And the cat falls asleep and doesn’t even move his ears when the door closes behind the owners. He can sleep for a long time, gets up, eats, and then goes back to the side. He wakes up and meets his owners. Yes, that's the kind of creature he is.

Children love to play with kittens, carry them in their arms, cuddle them, getting great pleasure from this. Sometimes, if you squeeze your pet too much, he may hiss first and then scratch. Conclusion - children should be limited in playing with cats.

Cats choose their owner themselves; they only tolerate other pets. There is no reasonable explanation for this. A cat can purr on anyone's lap, but the caresses end immediately when the owner of her choice enters. And for a long time now, he (or she) no longer needs to solve the problem of who is better, a cat or a dog.

Smell

  1. In this case, you should inspect the smell of urine if suddenly your four-legged pet decides to mark the territory. Dogs' urine does not smell as strong as cats' urine. However, the former, due to their natural characteristics, can fart like a dog. Not everyone will like this, especially when keeping an individual at home. Cats do not have a strong aroma.
  2. Even after swimming near certain breeds, you will never get rid of the characteristic smell. Shampoos will only obscure it, but the illiterate will be removed forever. In terms of hygiene, dogs are more difficult to maintain than cats. The latter lick themselves, they don’t like to live/be dirty.
  3. Cats usually do not go outside, so it makes sense to wash them constantly. As for devoted four-legged friends, Auntie is happy to ask for a walk in any weather. If it’s damp outside, you’ll have to wash your paws and even your entire body.

Problems of mutual existence next to a dog

A small creature, always poking at your feet, so inquisitive that it always knocks over everything in its path - this will be the case with a newly delivered puppy. And of any breed.

To make him an obedient, and most importantly, smart dog, you need to spend a lot of time and effort. At this stage one often gives up, sometimes the thought flashes through whether the choice is right, so who is better in an apartment, a cat or a dog?

You will have to start, oddly enough, with yourself. A dog will grow up healthy (with properly formed bones and joints) only if it exercises enough for the breed. Even a mongrel needs active walks. Therefore, in any weather or bad weather, first four or five times for ten to twenty minutes, and then twice a day for at least half an hour, the owner must walk his pet. And you can’t put it off until later, it needs to be done every day: most dogs cannot send their natural needs in litter trays, like cats. And in the first months, even frequent walks will not be able to protect the carpets from wet spots (they are usually removed when the baby is brought in).

With the selection of food, everything is much simpler - what you decide to feed is what your pet will eat. With inexperienced owners, puppies can become very fat (they are always hungry), and obesity, unfortunately, is harmful not only to people.

Lifestyle

  1. When choosing a particular animal, you should understand how active you will be with it. Every pet needs energy to live a full life. For example, dogs, especially large breeds, require long and frequent walks with sufficient physical activity.
  2. Therefore, elderly people and individuals who suffer from serious illnesses should not own such an active animal. Although, if you need long walks to improve your health, you can choose a small breed of dog.
  3. If you have plenty of time and lead an active lifestyle, an energetic large breed female dog is perfect for you. On the other hand, if no, you leave home early and return late, you shouldn’t start such an ignoramus.
  4. In this case, it is better to consider another pet. Yes, a miniature breed of dog may be suitable, which can be trained to a tray without any problems. However, such animals cannot tolerate prolonged loneliness. As an alternative, 2 dogs are allowed.
  5. On the other hand, when having a cat at home, your lover will not require walking. Moreover, such an individual, in the full sense of the word, can become completely domestic and not even go outside. This option would be ideal for older people and those who are constantly missing at work. It is enough to leave the animal enough water and food.

How do people feel around a dog?

When the period of growing up is overcome, a period of mutual agreement begins.

The pet understands the owner, he feels his mood, and raising his voice at the slightest offense makes the dog worry. It becomes difficult for owners not to humanize the dogs' actions - the response is often unexpectedly warmer than just friendly.

During this period, a person becomes not just the owner of the dog, but its friend. If such contact is established, then mutual existence is completely unburdensome.

The natural background is that dogs are in heat with the inevitable spots and the desire to run away in search of a partner.

Even the constant urges of male dogs to linger next to a delicately smelling friend are not annoying, and if you don’t put them on a leash in time, they will even run away.

The dog lives with the problems of its owners, but they do not burden him with theirs, having long ago decided the question of who is better to have, a cat or a dog. For them, the answer is always clear - of course, a dog, but only of the breed that suits their hearts (maybe a mongrel), of a size that will not infringe on the interests of the household.

Cleanliness

If you live in a city apartment, this argument will have weight when deciding whether it is better to have a cat or a dog in the house. Both will have to be toilet trained. And it is possible that the dog will learn faster: dogs are generally well trained, and at a young age they even grasp everything on the fly.

And most importantly, if a dog is healthy, having learned to go outside, it will no longer crap in the house. An exception may be cases when urinary incontinence is caused by some disease, for example, cystitis, or excessive emotionality. But a dog does not deliberately mark an apartment in order to prove something to someone or simply to mark its territory, but cats and even cats are quite capable of this. By leaving their excrement in a visible place in the apartment, they can defend their place in the hierarchy or expel the smell of a stranger from the house.

About the smell

The urine of these animals has different concentrations. The dog drinks more water and its urine is highly diluted because the dog needs to mark large areas. In addition, the tongue is the only organ responsible for cooling the dog’s body, which is why in hot weather the dog’s need for water increases greatly. Cats, compared to dogs, drink little; cat urine is much more concentrated, has a more pungent odor, which takes longer to dissipate.

At the same time, dogs smell on their own, while cats have no smell at all perceptible to the human sense of smell. A dog that has walked in the rain or has just been washed will emit a slight dog odor, more intense in breeds with thick undercoat. But you can feel it from dry, clean wool only if you stick your nose into it. By the way, many owners, strange as it may sound, love this smell and love to bury their face in the pet’s fur.

However, in general, dogs are more difficult to maintain hygiene than cats. If there is autumn slush outside, the paws will have to be washed as many times as the dog goes for a walk.

A cat, unless, of course, she lives in the country, as a rule, does not walk at all and washes herself. These differences are related to how the ancestors of today's dogs and cats hunted in the wild. Cats sat in ambush, watching for their prey, so they carefully camouflaged themselves and removed any smell from themselves so that it would not give them away. Dogs, like all wolf dogs, openly pursue their prey, so it doesn’t matter to them what they smell like.

Who is better, a cat or a dog: pros and cons

If we consider the issue of the psychological state of the owners after adopting a pet, then it is completely indifferent who becomes the furry friend.

The inevitable accompanying struggle with dirt (in one form or another) will almost always be present throughout the pet’s life, with cats a little smaller, with dogs a little more.

The benefits of keeping a cat in an apartment include virtually unspoiled relationships with neighbors. In the case of a dog that still needs to be trained so that it does not howl when its owners are absent and does not yap when someone passes by the apartment, relations with neighbors can even lead to scandals. There are many examples of this; the result can be a move - you cannot give your pet to anyone (although there are many negative cases).

You can leave your cat on vacation by entrusting its care to relatives or neighbors (this is an economical option, a more expensive option is in a special foster home). The dog is having a very hard time with the absence of its owner; its relatives cannot cope with it, let alone its neighbors. All that remains is an expensive nursery specializing in foster care.

From the point of view of routine and rhythm of life, a dog binds its owners to itself much more tightly than a cat. A dog is a lifestyle, but a cat, in fact, does not change anything.

Message

  1. A person does not have a pet as an attribute and a soulless creature. In the future, someone plans to communicate with him, play and show his love. Dogs are capable of reciprocal feelings, cats, in turn, do this as soon as they want. Some individuals never sit on top of the owner’s hand, do not allow themselves to be stroked or show lily.
  2. Dogs can feel the owner, while cats in most cases think only about themselves. The first ones are able to wait for the owner from work simply because they are bored. The second ones meow and ask for food, then move away until the next signal from the stomach.
  3. All this must be taken into account if you are planning to associate your Maslenitsa with a four-legged pet. Only some cat representatives are capable of showing sincere feelings. Most of them close themselves off from communication, which in itself is unacceptable. Because a person simply cannot approach a cat.

Living together with dogs and cats

In many families, dogs and cats live together, having acquired loving owners either at the same time, or appearing in the apartment in turn. The owners immediately and forever decided the question of who is better - a cat or a dog.

If these creatures appear at the same time, the owners spend almost a year in a tense rhythm raising them, training them, accustoming them to their household and life routine.

Cats, if they are still young, perceive puppies with caution. But then they begin to take care of them, probably perceiving them as their own children.

Unfortunately, not all dogs can show tolerance towards representatives of the cat family, but if this happens, a strong and cohesive union is born. Sometimes it brings greater joy to the animals themselves than to the owners.

Different sizes

Are you planning to get a puppy, but are unsure about which breed to choose? The range and variety is huge! I'm glad to have the chance to choose the dimensions of my future pet. Puppies often grow into large animals. Breeds are classified:

  • large - from 60 cm in height, weighing more than 25 kg. Representatives are the Black Russian Terrier, Caucasian Shepherd, St. Bernard, Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, Bull and English Mastiff.
  • medium - up to 60 cm tall, weighing up to 25 kg. Representatives: poodle, beagle, cocker spaniel. The group is widespread and includes hunting, medium-sized decorative, and service breeds.
  • small – up to 28 cm tall, weighing less than 12 kg. Representatives: Russian Toy Terrier, Pomeranian Spitz, Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Japanese Chin.

Test to determine

A test will help you find out who will definitely become a good friend:

  1. How much time do you plan to devote to your pet?
      A. 6-8 hours a day.
  2. B. 1-2 hours a day.
  3. B. Less than 1 hour per day.
  4. What to do if your pet is lost:
      A. This is incredible.
  5. B. I will search in different ways.
  6. B. I’ll wait until he returns on his own.
  7. Train a pet:
      A. Yes, it is necessary.
  8. B. If there is time.
  9. V. No, this is a waste of energy.
  10. Why get a pet:
      A. I want to have a friend.
  11. B. Just out of boredom.
  12. Q. This is a toy.
  13. How strong is the love for animals?
      A. Strongly.
  14. B. I’m calm.
  15. V. I don’t like it.

If “A” answers predominate, then a dog is a good choice.

If answers “B” predominate, then the best option is a cat.

A large number of “B” answers indicate that you should not have a cat or a dog.

Sociability

Here, it would seem, clear leadership should belong to the dog. Indeed, in its attunement to humans, a dog has no equal in nature. Since childhood, dogs living with a person simply breathe love for him. And if the owner does not respond to love with anger and cruelty, he will receive a friend who is ready to literally give his life for him. In addition, dogs are unobtrusive, they perfectly understand the mood of the owner, and if he is not in the mood for communication, then they will simply lie quietly next to you, waiting for you to pay attention to them.

The cat is not only more closed, but also more self-centered. She is interested in a person because he gives her shelter and food. Yes, sometimes she is especially attached to certain family members, but the cat has no goal of serving you, she has her own interests. Therefore, you can pet your cat when she wants it, and where she allows it.

But when the cat decides that the time has come to communicate with you, nothing will stop it. Neither your sleep, nor your work - it will just come and stand between you and the monitor or lie on the book you are reading. And he will touch your cheek with his velvet paw. And then he buries his head under your chin. What kind of work is there!

Upbringing

The dogs are highly trainable. Watch videos of dog agility or dancing competitions on the Internet - it’s simply incredible what kind of interaction and mutual understanding can be achieved with a dog without resorting to verbal explanations. And the point here is not only in pack hunting of dogs, which requires constant coordination of actions between members of the pack. Man domesticated the dog many millennia before the cat, and its experience of communicating with us is enormous.

The dog is open to you, receptive, really trying to understand what you want from it, and really wants to do what you ask. However, the whole problem is that dogs are not self-learning, they need to be taught, they need to be dealt with from an early age, and even if you are not going to shine at exhibitions or competitions.

An untrained dog is much more of a nuisance than any cat. Uncontrollable both in the house and on the street, guided only by its own instincts, far from the rules of human society, it is a big problem and even a threat to both its owners and those around them.

A cat, locked within four walls, and not even striving to communicate, will show aggression or inappropriate behavior only if you come into contact with it against its will. Of course, it will be difficult for you to wash the animal or carry out any medical manipulations with it, but in general you can coexist quite peacefully with each other, without attempting to raise a pet.

Choose a pet for love

So, we cannot tell you which animal is better - a cat or a dog. But we wish you to find exactly the creature that will steal your heart. People no longer have pets for practical purposes; they live with us in order to bring joy into our lives, give us their love and give us the opportunity to experience this love for them ourselves. So why do you need a “marriage of convenience” exactly where the whole point is in love?

Living in the same apartment with an animal of no matter how thoroughbred, the look of which does not make you feel anything and does not bring tenderness to your heart, is a dubious pleasure for both him and you. So the nascent feeling of love is the main factor that will allow you to make the right choice and subsequently not pay any attention to the inconveniences that inevitably arise when you take on the work and responsibility for the life of a being wholly dependent on you.
